BJP Candidate for Chandigarh Lok Sabha Seat Sanjay Tandon participates in Chai Pe Charcha event

Chandigarh, 17th April, 2024: In a community-centric 'Chai Pe Charcha' event, Sanjay Tandon, the BJP Chandigarh candidate for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, met with the presidents of 10 Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs) of ward no. 27, Sector 40 B, Chandigarh. The event was a vibrant exchange of ideas and aspirations, where Tandon shared his commitment to the welfare of the residents. Earlier in the day, he also attended the meeting organised by Kripal Singh of Sri Gurudev Studio at Hotel Shivalik View, Sector 17.
Tandon was honoured with a shawl, reflecting the community's support. Sanjeev Grover, one of the RWA presidents and General Secretary Satish Sharma were also present.

In his address, Tandon assured the residents, "Your aspirations are my goals. As your representative in the Lok Sabha, I will ensure that every voice is heard and every demand is met with action. Our journey towards a better Chandigarh begins with your support."

The event also celebrated the political shift as Sayyam Grover, son of Sanjeev Grover and state secretary of Youth Congress Chandigarh, joined the BJP, signaling a new chapter of unity and strength for the party.

In a heartfelt moment, Sanjeev Grover's mother Saroj Grover presented a letter to Sanjay Tandon that she'd written on the occasion Ram Mandir inauguration addressed to Narendra Modi. Other members present were: RWA Members : A K Sood, Ashok Nanda, Prof.Bhutani, Lakhani ji , Didar Singh, Atma Ram Agarwal, Ram Krishan Rana, Smt. Kanta Katyal and  Vinod Katyal.

 Ramesh Sahare, State Secretary BJP, Chandigarh was also present at the occasion.



Ravinder Pathania commented, "The active involvement of RWA's is crucial for the democratic process. We value your insights and are dedicated to transforming them into policies that benefit everyone in our society."

 

The event also highlighted the BJP's achievements in the past ten years which include remarkable accomplishments like Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Mission), Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), Ayushman Bharat, Make in India movement and so on. Emphasis on Sankalp Patra, a manifesto that promises significant benefits to Indian citizens  swas also laid. Under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Sankalp Patra also pledges to bring all senior citizens over 70, under the ambit of the Ayushman Bharat Yojana.

Here Sanjay Tandon said, "Born in Amritsar, my childhood was spent in the sacred periphery of Harmandir Sahib. The love I've received since my candidature announcement surpasses any I've known. Chandigarh's people are my family; they drive my campaign. My motto is simple: door-to-door contact for a heart-to-heart connection."

He also added, "The safe return of Indian students amidst the Ukraine-Russia conflict is a testament to PM Modi's exceptional leadership."
