District Cricket Association Mohali boys won the Punjab State Inter-District Under-23 Cricket Championship by defeating Amritsar in a thrilling final. In this thrilling final match played from 13 to 16 April 2024, the team of Mohali District Cricket Association displayed a brilliant display of skill and determination by defeating Amritsar to win the championship title.
Mohali team batted first and made a strong score of 516 runs in which batsmen Rushil Srivastava (105 runs), Jovenpreet (99 runs) and Aryan Bhatia (98 runs) showed brilliant performance. In reply, Amritsar team also fought bravely but ultimately got all out for 458 runs. Among Mohali bowlers, captain Ayush Goyal, Harshdeep Singh and Arshpreet Singh performed brilliantly and took three wickets each. Mohali got a lead of 58 runs in the first innings and on the basis of this lead the team achieved a spectacular victory.
In a tournament full of tough competition, the boys of District Cricket Association Mohali displayed exceptional sportsmanship and determination in every match. The team achieved this victory due to their hard work, tireless efforts and unwavering commitment.

He said that former President of Punjab Cricket Association, Shri Rajinder Gupta ji gave the right direction to cricket during his tenure and since then cricket is progressing in Punjab. Colonel Bhanot expressed his happiness on the victory of District Cricket Association Mohali in this tournament, this proof of the dedication and talent of the players.
