Bathinda: While exposing AAP leaders' dual faces, BJP's Bathinda Lok Sabha candidate retired IAS Parampal Kaur Sidhu said here on Wednesday that people voted for the government of the Aam Aadmi Party because they believed it would end drug abuse in Punjab.
“People didn't know that AAP's leaders themselves would end up in jail for liquor scams. While leaders of AAP, Congress, and other opposition parties are going to jail for scams, the BJP and the government of Narendra Modi are distributing homes and rations to the people.”
Parampal further said,” The BJP government is providing rations to 80 cr needy people in the country, which will continue in the future. The BJP is now working to develop every section of Bathinda and make it the number one city.”
Parampal reached out to the people in Mansa, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda Rural, Bathinda Urban, and all assembly constituencies.
During the campaign in Namdev Nagar, she said that the Modi government at the centre has provided houses to lakhs of people under the PM Housing Scheme.
She said ,” Modi has a special relationship with Punjab and Bathinda. It was he who laid the foundation stone of the AIIMS, for which the opposition is taking credit. Videos of its inauguration are still circulating on social media. In these videos, opposition leaders are thanking PM Modi.”
It is PM Modi's love for the Sikhs that he has undertaken the construction of the corridor to the sacred shrine of Sri Kartarpur Sahib. It was the Modi government that announced the celebration of Children's Day while remembering the martyrdom of the Chote Sahibzadas, she maintained. .
The recent manifesto released by Congress clearly indicates that it wants to continue the politics of appeasement and division, like before, she asserted.
Parampal also reached out to people in Namdev Nagar, Adarsh Nagar, GT Road, Panchvati, Model Town, and more than a dozen other locations.
During the occasion BJP's urban district president, Swaroop Chand Singla, Saroj Rani, Gaurav Nadhaniya, Surinder Kumar TT, and many others were also present.
