Mohali, Sep 11, 2023:Himanshu Kapoor, a resident of Kharrar, has alleged that Arvindera Electricals, an electrical contracting firm based in Chandigarh, have multiple FIRs filed against them. The firm, owned by father Kulbir and son Gurasees Sawhney, has a track-record of cheating and doing fraud and not paying its vendors. Alleged Kapoor.
He said that in August 2020, the Haryana Government also filed an FIR against the firm and recently another FIR has come to light lodged at SAS Nagar (Mohali) Phase 1, where they have done a fraud worth Rs 5.25 cr and their bail was rejected by the District Court.
It may be noted that the contractor firm, Arvindera Electricals is owned by the father-son duo - Kulbir and Gurasses Sawhney, residents of Sector 44. They had purchased electrical material from Hartek Power Pvt Ltd, one of India’s leading power companies, in the Industrial Area, Phase 8B, to supply various GMADA sites.
Himanshu Kapoor had lodged the complaint saying that Arvindera Electricals taken all the material from Hartek company and not made the payment and then ran away. The company reported the matter to the SSP Mohali on June 15, following investigation the police registered a case under sections 420, 406, and 120-B against the accused. Seeing the evidence, the district court also rejected the bail of the father-son duo.
