Chandigarh, September 16, 2023: With the festive season around the corner – tricity’s biggest 3-day lifestyle and home décor exhibition ‘Global Fashion’ kicked off at Himachal Bhawan, Sector 28, Chandigarh. The exhibition is the first showcase being organised in order to provide people from tricity and the region a one –of-a-kind shopping opportunity for the long upcoming festive season.
The organizers have brought more than 40 renowned exhibitors across the country to display their best products in the genres of lifestyle, fashion, décor items and accessories under one roof. People thronged in large numbers to witness the inimitable exhibition, which will be on till Sept 18, 2023-Monday, from 11 am till 8 pm daily.
Speaking on the occasion, Rattandeep Singh Walia, co-organizer of the exhibition, said, “In view of the upcoming festive season, the exhibition aims to give people the best shopping experience ever. This time, we have brought top exhibitors from across India who are displaying a plethora of fashionable clothing and products.”
Aman Walia, the other co-organiser added, "The exhibition is a one-stop destination for all fashion lovers. The products are affordable while being of a high quality at the same time."
Presenting the exquisite craftsmanship of Banarsi sarees ‘Sacred Threads of Banaras’ has displayed a wide range of the famous Banarasi sarees. The fabrics used to create the beautiful drapes are cotton silk, organza, brocades, georgette etc. The label is showcasing beautiful collections of printed suits and sarees.
Incorporating the rich heritage of Chikankari embroidery with the modern sensibilities of today's women – ‘Prisha Creations Lucknowi Chikankari Studio’ from Delhi stole the limelight with its beautiful collections of Chikankari Anarkali suits and lehengas.
For the Gen Z customers – a home grown label, ‘Saranac’ displayed exquisite collections of unisex oversized t-shirts and jeans. Moreover, the collection is presenting some beautiful detachable cuffs and sleeves as new fashion accessories. The label is pioneering this concept in the fashion industry.
For a good night’s rest – ‘Rainbow Factory’, from New Delhi has brought trendy night suits. The colorful and vibrant colours of the night suits make it more appealing as you can also enjoy wearing these with your friends on a coffee or wine date.
Moving on – ‘LAISHAZ by Deepthi’ is presenting stunning collections of kundan necklace, silver look alike earrings made up of premium brass and dainty jewellery with silver and golden polish. A home grown label, Swashita Home & Jewellery also displayed exquisite collections of Kundan and silver jewellery items such as earrings, necklace, bracelets, wedding jewellery sets, etc for the upcoming festive season.
