Following the celebration of 20 years of Vibrant Gujarat as the 'Summit of ccess,' and the successful completion of the Curtain Raiser event held in New Delhi, the Government of Gujarat is organizing a roadshow on 12th October 2023 in Chandigarh.
The roadshow aims to highlight Gujarat as a ‘Gateway to the Future’ through the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2024. This will enable businesses and companies to explore areas of collaboration and cooperation across various sectors of Gujarat and to attract investments in future-ready mega projects like GIFT City, Dholera SIR and Mandal Becharaji SIR to name a few.
Ahead of the roadshow, visits to the manufacturing facilities of Ganga Acrowools Ltd. and Avon Cycles Ltd. have also been planned for 11th October. The high-level delegation to Chandigarh will be led by Shri Kunvarjibhai Bavaliya, Hon’ble Minister of Water Resources and Water Supply, Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Affairs.
Mr. Vivek Gupta, Chairman, CII Chandigarh UT & Managing Director, NEC Packaging Ltd will deliver a welcome address, followed by a presentation on Business opportunities in Gujarat by Shri Roopwant Singh, IAS, Managing Director, Gujarat Mineral Development Corporation (GMDC) Ltd. The gathering will also witness experience sharing about Gujarat by prominent industry leaders and screening of AV films on Vibrant Gujarat, Dholera SIR & GIFT City.
Shri Kunvarjibhai Bavaliya, Hon’ble Minister of Water Resources and Water Supply, Food, Civil Supply and Consumer Protection Affairs will deliver an address encapsulating 20 years of success of VGGS, Hon’ble Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat@2047’ and Gujarat’s readiness for the same. The event will conclude with vote of thanks by Mr. Vinod Agarwal, Former Chairman, CII Gujarat State Council.
