Chandigarh, August 28, 2023: Institute of Indian Foundrymen Chandigarh Chapter celebrated 74th National Foundry Day by cutting a cake at a private hotel on Sunday. On one hand, the work of the Institute of Indian Foundrymen was highlighted, while on the other hand, a special session was organized on stress management.
Raminder Singh Nibber, Chairman, Pritika Group of Industries, was the chief guest on the occasion. He was accompanied by Vinay Luthra, Former Chairman and Mentor, North Zone, Sanjeev Juneja, Honorary Secretary, Dr. P. Tharja, Treasurer Mr. Manish Kwatra, renowned Yoga Guru and Aura Healer Dr. Anish Garg. During the event, IIF honored him with the Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding contribution to the foundry industry.
On this occasion, renowned Yoga Guru and Aura Healer Dr. Anish Garg while sharing his views on stress management said that healthy and stress free life is very important in today's busy life.
On this occasion, Raminder Singh Nibber also shared his success story that how he started his journey to reach this level. Giving success mantra to the members present at the function, he said that only hard work, dedication and honesty are the keys to success.
Earlier, Chairman Balram Kapoor said that NFD celebrates this day every year. He informed that India is the second largest producer of castings and also ranks fourth in GDP growth.
Vinay Luthra, former chairman and mentor, North Zone, introduced the guest speaker and threw light on NFD. Dr. P. Thareja spoke about NFD National Foundry Day while Honorary Secretary Mr. Sanjeev Juneja highlighted the activities of Chandigarh Chapter. Treasurer Manish Kwatra gave a formal vote of thanks for coming to the function.
At the conclusion of the program, a cultural program was organized by Gaggi Group, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all the present members.
