Young Entrepreneurs Shine at TYE Chandigarh Chapter Final 2025–26, School Students Pitch Startups Live

Mohali, May 13, 2026:TiE Chandigarh successfully organized the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Chapter Finals 2025–26 at the MPH Hall, Indian School of Business (ISB), Mohali, bringing together some of the brightest young entrepreneurial minds from leading schools across the region.
The program witnessed enthusiastic participation from 19 teams representing various schools. Out of these, 9 finalist teams—including 4 teams from Satluj Public School and 5 teams from DCM Group of Schools—advanced to the Chapter Finals and presented their innovative business ideas before an esteemed jury panel and audience. The finalists participated in an engaging pitching session, showcasing entrepreneurial ideas focused on innovation, problem-solving, sustainability, and social impact.

The Chapter Finals were evaluated by a distinguished jury panel comprising Dr. Dapinder Kaur Bakshi, Joint Director, Punjab State Council for Science & Technology, Department of Science Technology Environment, Government of Punjab; Sh. Somveer Anand, CEO & Mission Director, Innovation Mission Punjab; and Mr. Shubham Sagar Sahu, Senior Program Manager, AIC-ISB. The jury appreciated the creativity, confidence, presentation skills, and entrepreneurial mindset demonstrated by the participating students.

The occasion was further enriched by inspiring addresses from eminent dignitaries, including Chief Guest Dr. Rajnish Sharma, Vice Chancellor, Chitkara University (HP); Mr. Harit Mohan, TiE Global BoT 2026–27 and Past President, TiE Chandigarh; Mr. Puneet Verma, President, TiE Chandigarh; and Dr. Gopan Gopalakrishnan, Dy. CEO, DCM Group of Schools.

Addressing the gathering, Mr. Puneet Verma, President, TiE Chandigarh, emphasized that the TYE program is helping shape the next generation of innovators, startup founders, and future CEOs by providing students with mentorship, experiential learning, and exposure to real-world business challenges.

He highlighted that students today are exceptionally talented, creative, and confident, and the quality of ideas presented during the competition reflected the strong entrepreneurial potential among Tricity youth. He also appreciated the consistent efforts of TiE Chandigarh members, who actively mentored and guided students throughout the journey in refining their ideas, business models, and pitching skills.

He further noted that the Chapter Finals are an important milestone in the TYE journey and expressed confidence that the winning teams will now go on to represent the region at the TYE National Finals, where they will compete with top teams from across the country. He added that TiE Chandigarh’s vision is to continue nurturing these young innovators and prepare them for global entrepreneurial platforms. He confirmed that TiE Chandigarh has distributed ₹2 Lakh as prize money among the participating students.

The TYE program continues to inspire school students to think innovatively, develop leadership qualities, and cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset through mentorship, experiential learning, and real-world exposure to entrepreneurship.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners, a felicitation ceremony, and a vote of thanks.
