Enthusiastic Organization of the 75th Edition of “Sunday on Cycle”

Chandigarh, 24 May – Under the leadership of Smt. Kamal Sisodia, Commandant 13 Battalion, Central Reserve Police Force the 75th edition of the “Sunday on Cycle” campaign, organized as part of the Government of India’s “Fit India Movement,” was conducted with great enthusiasm and positive spirit by 13 Battalion CRPF. Officers, subordinate officers, Jawans, and their family members participated actively in the event.
On this occasion, Smt. Kamal Sisodia, Commandant 13 Battalion, formally flagged off the cycle rally under the “Sunday on Cycle” initiative and personally led the participants throughout the event. Displaying exceptional enthusiasm and determination, she cycled for more than 30 kilometers alongside the Jawans, setting an inspiring example of leadership, discipline, and commitment towards fitness.
Her active participation served as a unique example of Naari Shakti and highlighted the message that physical fitness is equally important and essential for both men and women alike. Her leadership and energy greatly motivated the participating personnel and inspired them to adopt fitness as an integral part of their daily lives.
During the program, important messages regarding health awareness, regular exercise, fitness, and environmental protection were conveyed. Through the cycle rally, participants were encouraged to adopt a healthy lifestyle and contribute towards a pollution-free and eco-friendly environment.
Speaking on the occasion, Commandant Smt. Kamal Sisodia stated that the enthusiasm, discipline, and active participation displayed by the personnel of 13 Battalion proved that the CRPF is not only a force dedicated to national security but also a symbol of a healthy, disciplined, and socially responsible lifestyle. She further encouraged the Jawans to continue participating enthusiastically in fitness and public welfare initiatives in the future.
The campaign had a highly positive impact on all participants and attendees. It enhanced physical fitness, mental enthusiasm, self-confidence, and team spirit among the personnel. Under the continuous emphasis laid on fitness and sports activities by Commandant Smt. Kamal Sisodia, the Battalion has consistently achieved commendable performances, medals, and winning positions in various sports competitions, reflecting the high standards of physical preparedness and morale among the Jawans.
