Karnal, April 29: Park Hospital Karnal will start robotic knee resurfacing surgeries soon.Dr Bhanu Pratap Singh, director orthopedics and robotic joint replacement surgery said that Park Hospital is already offering free robotic technology to the patients till May end. This initiative aims to make advanced healthcare accessible to every section of society.”
Dr Bhannu further said that nowadays we are doing robotic knee replacement surgery in 12-15 minutes which is powered by 3D augmented reality and artificial intelligence. There is no requirement of blood transfusion, no sutures and no drains. The surgery is being performed from the small cuts of 3.5 to 4 inches and patients can walk 4 hours after the surgery, he informed.
