पुरुषों पर अत्याचारों के खिलाफ एवं पुरुष आयोग के गठन की मांग को लेकर दिल्ली में सत्याग्रह 19 को

चण्डीगढ़ : देश में पुरुषों के अधिकारों की लड़ाई लड़ रहा एनजीओ सेव इंडियन फैमिली ( एसआईएफ) महिला आयोग की तरह ही पुरुष आयोग का गठन करवाने के संघर्षरत्त है क्योंकि पुरुषों में बढ़ती आत्महत्याएं, पतियों की चौंकाने वाली हत्या की घटनाएं, कानूनों का दुरुपयोग और सरकार, न्यायपालिका व

समाज द्वारा पुरुषों की उपेक्षा अब चिंताजनक स्तर पर पहुंच चुकी है। ये कहना हैं इस एनजीओ के चण्डीगढ़ चैप्टर के अध्यक्ष रोहित डोगरा का। वे आज यहां चण्डीगढ़ प्रेस क्लब में एक प्रेस वार्ता को सम्बोधित कर रहे थे। उन्होंने कहा कि अब समय आ गया है कि इन गंभीर मुद्दों पर ध्यान दिया जाए। इन अन्यायों को उजागर करने और बदलाव की मांग को लेकर एनजीओ सेव इंडियन फैमिली द्वारा पुरुषों के लिए सत्याग्रह के बैनर तले एक शांतिपूर्ण धरना राजधानी दिल्ली स्थित जंतर-मंतर में 19 अप्रैल को आयोजित किया जाएगा जिसमें पूरे देश भर से एनजीओ के पदाधिकारी व सदस्यगण तथा पीड़ितजन भाग लेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि इसी सिलसिले में वे भी अपने अधिकाधिक साथियों के साथ एनजीओ के चण्डीगढ़ चैप्टर की ओर से इस प्रदर्शन में भाग लेने जाएंगे। उन्होंने ये कैसा महिला उत्थान, जो ले रहा पुरुषों की जान का नारा भी दिया।  

उन्होंने बताया कि राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर कार्यरत्त एनजीओ सेव इंडियन फैमिली फाउंडेशन के प्रयासों से ही दहेज़ के मामलों में धारा 498-ए के तहत दर्ज केसों में ससुरालियों की तुरंत गिरफ्तारी पर रोक लग पाई थी। इस कुख्यात धारा के तहत दहेज़ के लिए प्रताड़ित करने को गैर-ज़मानती अपराध माना गया था ओर पुलिस बिना वारंट के भी ससुरालियों को गिरफ़्तार कर सकती थी।

रोहित डोगरा ने कहा कि अतुल सुभाष, पुनीत खुराना और मानव शर्मा की हालिया आत्महत्या के मामलों ने देश को हिला दिया है। इन दुखद घटनाओं ने वैवाहिक अशांति और भारत में लिंग-आधारित कानूनों के दुरुपयोग के बढ़ते मुद्दे को उजागर किया है। रोहित डोगरा ने कहा मुस्कान रस्तोगी का मामला, जिसने कथित तौर पर अपने पति की निर्मम हत्या की और उनके शरीर को एक ड्रम में रख दिया, ने वैवाहिक संबंधों में बढ़ते तनाव को और भी उजागर किया है। हमें सभी नागरिकों के लिए, चाहे उनका लिंग कुछ भी हो, समतापूर्ण समाज की आवश्यकता है।

कानूनों का दुरुपयोग, विशेष रूप से दहेज़ और बलात्कार से संबंधित, एक महत्वपूर्ण चिंता का विषय बन गया है।बदला लेने या जबरन वसूली के साधन के रूप में अक्सर झूठे मामले दर्ज किए जाते हैं, जिससे पुरुष असहाय महसूस करते हैं और उनके पास कोई सुरक्षा नहीं होती।भारत में पुरुष आत्महत्याओं की बढ़ती संख्या चौंकाने वाली है, जिसमें पारिवारिक और घरेलू समस्याएं प्रमुख कारण हैं। हर 4.5 मिनट में, देश में एक पुरुष आत्महत्या करता है। रोहित डोगरा ने कहा कि भारत में पुरुषों का कानूनी नरसंहार हो रहा है। हमारे देश की न्यायिक प्रणाली में अधिक पारदर्शिता और जवाबदेही की तत्काल आवश्यकता है। जब कोई पुरुष या उसका परिवार कानून की अदालत में याचिकाकर्ता होता है तो हमारी माननीय न्यायपालिका बहुत असंवेदनशील हो जाती है। अतुल के नोट के अनुसार, जब पत्नी ने टिप्पणी की कि उसे अपना जीवन समाप्त कर लेना चाहिए तो पारिवारिक न्यायालय के न्यायाधीश हंस पड़े। यहां तक कि माननीय सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने भी दादी को बच्चे के लिए अजनबी कहा। कानून को सभी के साथ समान व्यवहार करना चाहिए और किसी भी नागरिक के साथ उसके लिंग के आधार पर भेदभाव नहीं करना चाहिए।

इन गंभीर मुद्दों के जवाब में, सेव इंडियन फैमिली मूवमेंट, जो 40 एनजीओ का एक समूह है, ने 19 अप्रैल को जंतर मंतर पर सत्याग्रह फॉर मेन नामक एक शांतिपूर्ण सभा का आयोजन किया है। इस कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य जागरूकता बढ़ाना और लिंग-तटस्थ कानूनों, लिंग-आधारित कानूनों के दुरुपयोग के लिए सख्त दंड, और पुरुषों के मुद्दों को संबोधित करने के लिए एक राष्ट्रीय आयोग की स्थापना के लिए जोर देना है। मूवमेंट की हेल्पलाइन, एसआईएफ वन (08882 498 498), कई पुरुषों के लिए एक जीवनरेखा रही है, जो संकट में हैं।

प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान एसआईएफ, चंडीगढ़ के कार्यकर्ताओं में अंकुर शर्मा,महेश कुमार, जसदीप सिंह,रविंदर सिंह,सौमेंदु मुखर्जी, जसमीत सिंह, हरदीप कुमार, गुरचरण सिंह, नवीन कुमार और अन्य शामिल थे।

सेव इंडियन फैमिली -चंडीगढ़ एक गैर-लाभकारी, स्व-वित्तपोषित, स्व-समर्थित स्वयंसेवी आधारित पंजीकृत गैर सरकारी संगठन है, जो पुरुषों और परिवारों के अधिकारों और कल्याण के लिए काम करता है। एक अन्य सदस्य अंकुर शर्मा ने कहा कि एसआईएफ 2005 से परिवार और वैवाहिक सद्भाव के लिए काम कर रहा है। इन 20 वर्षों में, हमने भारत भर में और यहाँ तक कि विदेशों में भी अपनी निःशुल्क साप्ताहिक सहायता समूह बैठकों, हेल्पलाइनों, ऑनलाइन समूहों, ब्लॉगों और अन्य स्वयंसेवी आधारित समूहों के माध्यम से परामर्श के माध्यम से प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष रूप से लाखों परिवारों को जोड़ा और उनकी मदद की है।

Save Indian Family Foundation’s Chandigarh Chapter to Participate in Men’s Satyagraha in Delhi

Satyagraha in Delhi on 19th April for Men's Rights and Demand for Formation of Men’s Commission

A society based on equality, transcending gender bias, is the need of the hour: Rohit Dogra

Chandigarh: The NGO Save Indian Family (SIF), which is fighting for men’s rights in the country, is struggling for the formation of a Men’s Commission, just like the Women’s Commission. This is because the rising suicide rates among men, shocking incidents of husbands being murdered, misuse of laws, and the neglect of men by the government, judiciary, and society have reached alarming levels. These were the words of Rohit Dogra, the President of the Chandigarh Chapter of this NGO, while addressing a press conference at the Chandigarh Press Club today. He stated that it is high time these serious issues are given attention. To highlight these injustices and demand change, the Save Indian Family NGO will hold a peaceful protest under the banner of Satyagraha for Men at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on 19th April, where officials, members, and victims from across the country will participate. He mentioned that the Chandigarh chapter would also send a large number of its members to join the protest. He also coined the slogan, “What kind of women upliftment, which is taking the lives of men?”

He mentioned that due to the efforts of the Save Indian Family Foundation, the immediate arrest of in-laws under Section 498-A in dowry-related cases was put on hold. This notorious section, under which dowry harassment was considered a non-bailable offense, allowed the police to arrest in-laws without a warrant.

Rohit Dogra expressed that the recent suicides of Atul Subhash, Puneet Khurana, and Manav Sharma have shaken the nation. These tragic incidents have brought to light the growing issue of marital discord and the misuse of gender-based laws in India. He further pointed out the case of Muskaan Rastogi, who allegedly murdered her husband and placed his body in a drum, which further exposed the increasing tension in marital relationships. “We need an equitable society for all citizens, regardless of gender,” said Dogra.

The misuse of laws, particularly those related to dowry and rape, has become a major concern. False cases are often filed as a means of revenge or extortion, leaving men feeling helpless and without protection. The rising number of male suicides in India is shocking, with family and domestic issues being the primary reasons. Every 4.5 minutes, a man commits suicide in the country. Rohit Dogra stressed that a legal massacre of men is happening in India, and there is an urgent need for more transparency and accountability in the judicial system. He pointed out that the judiciary becomes insensitive when a man or his family is the petitioner in a legal case. According to Atul’s note, when his wife commented that she should end her life, the family court judge laughed. Even the Supreme Court referred to the grandmother as a stranger to the child. The law should treat everyone equally, without gender-based discrimination.

In response to these serious issues, the Save Indian Family Movement, a group of 40 NGOs, has organized a peaceful gathering called Satyagraha for Men on 19th April at Jantar Mantar. The purpose of this event is to raise awareness about gender-neutral laws, demand strict penalties for the misuse of gender-based laws, and advocate for the establishment of a national commission to address men’s issues. The movement’s helpline, SIF One (08882 498 498), has been a lifeline for many men in distress.

During the press conference, the members of SIF Chandigarh included Ankur Sharma, Mahesh Kumar, Jasdeep Singh, Ravinder Singh, Soumendu Mukherjee, Jasmeet Singh, Hardeep Kumar, Gurcharan Singh, Naveen Kumar, and others.

Save Indian Family – Chandigarh is a non-profit, self-funded, and self-supported volunteer-based registered NGO working for men’s and family rights and welfare. Another member, Ankur Sharma, mentioned that SIF has been working for family and marital harmony since 2005. Over the past 20 years, through its free weekly support group meetings, helplines, online groups, blogs, and other volunteer-based programs, SIF has directly or indirectly connected and assisted millions of families both in India and abroad.
