City's social activist Dr Monica B Sood heralds ‘Trinetra Bharat’ initiative, unveiled in national capital

Chandigarh, April 20:Social activist and entrepreneur Dr Monica B. Sood who is the CEO of the Navjivan Group headquartered in Chandigarh and Founding-President of Non -Governmental Organisation(NGO)  National Unity & Security Council(NUSC), has unveiled  a unique national campaign - ‘Trinetra Bharat'.  The  launch of ‘Trinetra Bharat' , a pioneering platform aimed at empowering India’s youth through awareness in artificial intelligence, financial literacy, cybersecurity, and law was held at an event titled  ‘Trinetra Bharat: The Dialogue of Vigilant Minds’ at IIT Delhi. 

Conceptualized by Dr Monica B.Sood, after her discussions on importance of mental health with IIT students, the event marks the start of a national movement - 'Trinetra Bharat', to create future leaders who think ethically , are resilient and have critical knowledge of their chosen fields.  

“The unveiling of 'Trinetra Bharat' was not just a seminar, it was a clarion call for national awakening,” said Dr Monica B. Sood on the sidelines of the event. “Our youth must become protectors of their own digital, financial, and social rights. These qualities shall make youth shape India’s future through 'compassionate leadership'.”

Prof SP Singh Baghel, Union Minister of State for Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, and Panchayati Raj, who was the Chief Guest, said: “Themes like AI, finance and cybersecurity, form the 'Trinetra' of a modern, self-reliant India.”

“We don’t want the youth to follow trends — we want them to set directions. With open minds, fearless hearts, and Rashtra Nirman at the core, youth can become the architects of a stronger, smarter Bharat,” said Prof Baghel. 

The event also featured distinguished Guests of Honour Dr Vijay Chauthaiwale, In-Charge, Foreign Affairs Department of BJP and Dr Janice Darbari, Honorary Consul General of Montenegro. 

The event witnessed a dynamic panel discussion featuring top minds like Ashok Kumar, VC, Sports University of Haryana, Dr Pavan Duggal, Supreme Court Advocate, Rajesh Aggarwal, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPwD), Vivek Law, Business Journalist and Ishan Kapoor, Hoping Minds, exploring the pivotal role of technology, law, and financial literacy in nation-building.

It is worth mentioning that Navjivan Group, headquartered in Chandigarh with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Mohali, was founded in 1923 by freedom fighter Dr Amarnath Sood. Navjivan Group today operates in over 40 countries under Dr Monica’s visionary leadership, carrying forward its century-old mission of national wellness and social awakening. Dr Sood through her 'think tank' National Unity and Security Council(NUSC) has also been at the helm of outlining policies that India can adopt in relation to many national and global issues. 

With IIT Delhi as the launchpad and Chandigarh-Mohali as its operational backbone, ‘Trinetra Bharat’ stands poised to ignite vigilant minds across India.
