NGO organizes community kitchen

Panchkula,  Jun 20: "Organizing a community kitchen or 'ann bhandara' is a good way of doing something for society and gives a lot of   satisfaction to people who hold such community kitchens.  This is a step taken for humanity," said Amitabh Rungta, the founder of the Non- Governmental Organisation(NGO) Shree Shyam Karuna Foundation. Rungta who is a well known social worker made these remarks on the sidelines of the 118th 'community kitchen' organised by his NGO   at  Industrial Area, Phase 1, here. Due to  the sweltering heat, apart from providing a square meal to the needy at the community kitchen, cool refreshing drinking water was also offered to those who had food at  the 'bhandara'.

Rungta added that just like getting a shanti paath or havan done at home, people can also choose to hold  a community kitchen - this will be a good option because it shall not only provide healthy  food to those in need but will also bring happiness and prosperity in the life of the organiser.

Anupama Rungta, Chaitanya Rungta, Pragati, Sukhpal Singh, Suresh Jangra were specially present during the 'bhandara' and helped in its organsation.
