Chandigarh: Sanskar Se Sankalp Tak (From Values to Resolution), the autobiography of Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal, Vice-Chancellor of the Central University of Himachal Pradesh (CUHP), was unveiled at Keshav Kunj, Jhandewalan.
The memoir documents Prof. Bansal’s leadership across five universities, detailing the strategic vision and institutional resilience needed to build academic centers from the ground up while implementing the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. S.P. Bansal observed,
"Sanskar anchors our core values and ethics, while Sankalp drives us forward. Building an institution is not merely about infrastructure—it is about fostering integrity, empowering students, and standing firm through challenges. This book shares the real hurdles and lessons behind turning an educational vision into reality."
Key dignitaries included Chief Guest Shri Indresh Kumar; Prof. Yogesh Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University; and Padma Shri Prof. Harmohinder Singh Bedi, Chancellor of CUHP. The speakers noted the book’s value as a practical roadmap for emerging academic administrators and policy architects.

Organized at Keshav Kunj, Jhandewalan, in New Delhi, the event drew prominent academicians, thinkers, and professionals, including senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar.
Addressing the gathering, senior RSS leader Indresh Kumar emphasized the indispensable role of cultural grounding and moral clarity in public life, noting that true national and institutional progress stems from aligning personal character with collective responsibility.
He highlighted the rare courage required to pen an authentic autobiography. “Rather than falling into the common trap of deflecting responsibility or casting blame, Prof. Bansal’s reflections confront personal truths head-on, he observed.
Other speakers at the gathering mentioned that by speaking candidly about his successes alongside his failures and professional hurdles, Prof Bansal’s journey was framed as a masterclass in resilience over bitterness—offering critical lessons for educators navigating today's complex academic landscapes.
