Chandigarh, August 10, 2026: Senior BJP leader and Himachal Pradesh Co-Incharge Sanjay Tandon today called upon citizens to celebrate Independence Day by renewing their commitment to the nation and contributing to the building of a stronger, more prosperous and self-reliant India.
“Independence Day is not only a celebration but a firm reminder of the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and an opportunity for every citizen to reaffirm their commitment to the nation. The spirit of patriotism should inspire us to serve society and contribute to nation-building,” Tandon said.
Tandon made the remarks while inaugurating a special Independence Day celebration camp at Maruti Car Clinic, Industrial Area Phase-II, Chandigarh. Organised during the Independence Day celebration week, the camp seeks to mark the occasion by offering special incentives to community members in order to extend value to them.
He congratulated Vikas Nocha, CMD, Car Clinic, and his entire team for organising the initiative and appreciated their continued efforts towards serving customers with commitment and excellence.
Tandon also welcomed Shantanu, Regional Service Manager, Maruti Suzuki, and Keshav, who were present on the occasion, and wished the team success. He extended his warm greetings to the people of Chandigarh and the country on Independence Day.
