Chandigarh Police organized ‘Sarv Dharam Sadbhawna Meeting’

Chandigarh: Chandigarh Police organized ‘Sarv Dharam Sadbhawna Meeting’ at GO’s Mess, Sector 26, Chandigarh to bridge the gap between various communities and spread the message of unity and brotherhood. The prominent religious leaders representing many faiths came together to promote the communal harmony and national integration. About 50 prominent leaders of various communities from Hindu, Jain, Muslim, Sikh and Christian along with their members joined this Sadhbhawna Meeting. Sh. Parveer Ranjan, IPS, Director General of Police, UT, Chandigarh, Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal, IPS, SSP, Chandigarh, Ms. Manisha Chaudhary, IPS, SSP Traffic & Security, Sh. Manoj Kumar Meena, SP/headquarters, Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, SP/City, Ms. Shruti Arora, IPS ASP/South along with other officers of Chandigarh Police were present during the occasion. 
In his address, Sh. Parveer Ranjan, IPS, DGP/UT stressed upon the need for communal harmony and ensured all the members that the Chandigarh Police will continue to extend full cooperation and providing all sort of assistance equally among the various communities. He thanked all the members for joining the Sadbhawna Sabha. He said all religions teaches equanimity so every member should behave like a family member in society and feel each other pains and grieves.

Manoj Jain, President Jain Sathanak, Sector 23, Chandigarh, Mohammad Ajmal Khan, Shahi Imam, Jama Masjid, Sector 20, Chandigarh, Kari Shamsher, Imam, Jama Masjid, Burail, Sector 45, Chandigarh, Sardar Tejwant Singh, Secretary Gurudwara Asthapan Committee, Sector 22, Chandigarh and Father Premanand, Incharge Sarv Dharam Sadan, Church-19, Chandigarh congratulated Chandigarh Police on the occasion and shared their views. They also praised the assistance of Chandigarh Police during covid times in the city. They extended the gesture to the Chandigarh Police for making successful liaison with the different stuff of society to bridge the brotherhood-relationship among them. 
Kari Shamsher, Imam, Jama Masjid, Burail, Chadigarh and other leaders also appreciated Sh. Ram Gopal, DSP/CID for coordinating with the all leaders and took an initiative to bring communal harmony among all the members of different religion at a common platform. All the members/leaders appreciated this unique initiative of Chandigarh Police.
At last, Sh. Kuldeep Singh Chahal given vote of thanks and invited all the members for high tea.
