Magical Music Performances by Sur Sangam Amateur Singers and Bollywood Maestro Dilip Sen Enthrall City Art Lovers at Tagore theatre.

Chandigarh; The Tagore theatre hall reverberated with the melodious musical renditions as the 21^st  annual edition of musical extravaganza ‘ Kishore Nite’ organized by Sur Sangam Panchkula went off to a majestic start with programme director Dr Pardeep Bhardwaj doling out ‘ Bachna ai haseeno lo mein aa gya..’ Din mahine saal or ‘ Chehra hai ya chaand khila hai’ besides duets like ‘ Gata rhe mera dil…’with Dr Rozy Aneja from Ambala . She also sang ‘ Naina barse ‘ and ‘Prem kahani mein’  with Harjeet . Dr Naveen Chawla and Ruby presented   Dil lagi ne di hawa’ .  

The bureaucrat couple of Dr SS Prasad and Ranju Prasad, both gifted singers, presented ‘ Duurian  Nazdeekiyan ban gyi’ with a melodic fervor before other bureaucrat Jagdeep Dhanda mesmerized with ‘ Mere dil mein aaj kya hai’.  

As many as 25 accomplished singers including Bharatvanshi, Rishu, Sangeetha,Abhijit, Anjali, Mannat,Deepak Garg, Sanjna,Rajesh, Rajeev Verma, Renu ,Yatish, Kavya, Kumar Sajan, Ramandeep, presented 37 songs.

The programme attained a new high with the acclaimed  Bollywood music director and celebrity guest Dilip Sen taking the centre stage. He established instant rapport with audience and was at his best in all presentations as the audience hummed along all his songs especially the ‘Oley oley.. and many more.’ The young energetic Dr Pardeep Bhardwaj after singing hits like ‘ Jab bhi koi ladki dekhun’and  Hoton pe bas..’ gave grand finale with another hit ‘ Saame ye kaun aya..’ Lovely-Vinod music ensemble provided orchestral support while AIR New Delhi’s Jainendra Singh anchored the event with adroit mastery.    

Earlier Sur Sangam management welcomed chief guest Shri Anil Vij, Hon’ble minister for Home and Health Government of Haryana. He honoured singers and appreciated the endeavor of artists especially medical professionals and Dr Pardeep Bhardwaj, the rooh – e- ravangi of Sur Sangam.
