Ambala: As many as 60 patients between the age group of 32-80 years were examined during a free nephrology and urology health check-up camp at Park Healing Touch Hospital, Ambala today. During camp a team of Park including Dr Jyoti Agarwal nephrologist and Dr Tejender Pal Singh Khurana the urologist.
The aim of the camp was to make the general public aware of kidney and urological health and to ensure timely diagnosis and treatment of the disease. In a special diet counseling session, Aarti the dietician shared information on dietary tips and lifestyle modifications necessary to maintain kidney and urinary health.
The blood and urine tests and advanced tests like uroflowmetry and serum PSA test were also performed to check urological health during the camp.
Dr. Jyoti Agarwal said those kidney diseases are initially asymptomatic, thus regular checkups are extremely necessary.
Prostate and urine related problems are common in old age, but they can be controlled with timely checkups and treatment, informed Dr. Tejender Pal Singh Khurana .
