DVT is a condition where a blood clot forms in a deep vein, typically in the legs and can lead to serious complications if not treated promptly. Traditionally, DVT was managed with anticoagulant therapy, which only prevents the clot from growing but does not actively remove it.

Fortis Mohali now offers next-generation clot retrieval systems such as the Penumbra Indigo Lightning System, a vacuum-based, image-guided aspiration system, and the Inari ClotTriever System, a catheter-based device designed for minimally invasive removal of large clots in a single session without the use of thrombolytic drugs.
