From Martial Arts to shayaris, discover the diverse hobbies of Sony SAB's artists

Mumbai, : In the world of television, where actors captivate audiences with their on-screen characters, lies a world of personal pursuits that often go unseen. Behind the curtains of fame and glamour, artists often indulge in hobbies that serve as outlets for creativity, relaxation, and personal fulfilment. Sony SAB artists open up about their hobbies, revealing passions that extend far beyond their roles in the spotlight. Puneet Issar, playing the role of Bhanupratap in Vanshaj, says, “Usually our shoot schedules are such that we don’t get enough time to spare and practice our hobbies but one thing that I enjoy is practicing Martial Arts. I have been a student of martial arts and practicing the same for a very long time. Not only does it keep me balanced and focused, but it also keeps my energy high.”

Karuna Pandey, Pushpa in Pushpa Impossible, says, “I think everyone knows about my love for dance, but one thing that the audience might not know about me is that I enjoy writing shayari. For me, both dancing and writing shayari is a way of expressing myself, it’s a form of self-discovery. With hectic shoot schedules, we often don’t get a chance to express ourselves beyond our characters, so through these two activities, I love expressing myself. This is also my ‘me time’ that I cherish the most.”

Pariva Pranati, who plays the role of Vandana Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey, said, "It's not widely known, but I love writing stories and screenplays. I have written three stories for Wagle Ki Duniya so far. I am grateful to the team of Wagle Ki Duniya who has given me a chance to put my hobby to some use. It’s also been a great experience as I have received so much praise for the stories. Hoping to write more for the show in the future.”

Sumeet Raghavan, who essays the role of Rajesh Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya – Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey said, “Apart from acting I also enjoy singing and I even have a harmonium in my makeup room on the set. Often between shoots, the cast and crew of Wagle Ki Duniya break into an impromptu jamming session. I am also extremely fortunate to get the honor of performing in front of Mr Amitabh Bachchan on Kaun Banega Crorepati. Infact my character Rajesh Wagle in the show also took an unexpected step to pursue his life-long dream of singing, so it's truly a journey where dreams are turning into reality.”

Aditi Rathore, essaying the role of Tanvi in Aangan Aapno Kaa, says, “I truly enjoy painting and listening to audiobooks in my free time. I am a shy person by nature and extremely introverted. So I like to keep myself engrossed in things I can do alone. I love reading books but don’t have enough space in my bookshelf to keep new books, so I have now moved to audiobooks and listen to them in between my shots. I also enjoy painting in my free time. It’s a great stress-buster.”

Tune in to watch Aangan Aapno Kaa, Pushpa Impossible, Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedhi Naye Kissey and Vanshaj only on Sony SAB
