PLPB hails yoga practitioners for being the torch bearers of overall wellness

Chandigarh, 23 June: PLPB celebrates International Yoga Day that embodies the spirit of overall wellness for body and mind and hails the yoga practitioners for being the torch bearers of overall wellness. To show support to Govt of Punjab’s Yoga day initiatives over 20 asanas were performed for peace, mental and physical health.

The theme of this year made it more special, which is – Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, which means Yoga for the Welfare of All as One World-One Family.

Elaborating his thoughts, Lohit Bansal, Managing Director, PLPB said, “With Govt of Punjab conducting ‘CM di Yogshala’ with free availability of yoga trainers are steps towards making communities more agile who practice yoga as part of their routine and find the route to composed mind and body, leading to wellness. We are happy to have the custom with Indian origins for being practiced globally.”

Speaking on the occasion, Sumit Singla, CEO, PLPB said, “With fast pace life, mental and physical health takes toll on individuals and yoga is one of the most trusted means to boost physical and mental wellbeing. The yoga cum counseling sessions for each of the participants added a lot of positivity for all. At PLPB, wellness is at the core and in all our actions we ensure that it remains sacrosanct. We thank all the yoga participants and practitioners in India and around the world for being the guiding light for millions of people.”
