Mohali 12 th June 2022 : MUrgency, a Global Medical Emergency service provider has acquired the majority of stake in India's Leading Medical Service Provider, Ziqitza Health Care Limited. 108 Ambulance services in Punjab are being undertaken by Ziqitza and with this majority stake holding change, MUrgency will work further to strengthen their emergency services across the country by offering quick assistance to people in distress seeking emergency support within the golden hour, and provide quick robust pre-hospital service, which will help in saving precious lives.
108 Ambulance services shall get to experience the exchange of best practices with MUrgency Group- Ziqitza HealthCare Limited’s pan-India presence in the emergency medical response and transportation (Life Support Ambulance Service) sector with operations across 28 states in India with 3600+ ambulances and 12000+ employees with a medical transport operation of 15000+ patients every day.
This announcement marks a significant step for both MUrgency Group and Ziqitza towards delivering on their respective strategy to continue to grow the emergency medical services and medical transportation vertical in Asia.
MUrgency Group will be taking both board and management control of Ziqitza HealthCare Limited. Mr. Shaffi Mather will be taking over as the Non-Executive Chairman and Ms. Sweta Mangal as the group chief executive officer of the combined MUrgency - Ziqitza Group.
