Chandigarh, June 21, 2022: SBI General Insurance, one of India’s leading general insurance companies, has been at the forefront of propagating the practice of good health and wellness amongst the masses, across the country. In partnership with The Yoga Institute, the oldest centre of yoga in the world, SBI General had curated an easy and effective guided health program to launch a nationwide health awareness initiative “7 Minutes to Good Health”.
In a crisp guided video, brand ambassador Vidya Malavde, actor and yoga enthusiast, showcases the right breathing techniques which enables you to transform your mind and body in just 7 minutes. This has been shared extensively across the Company’s stakeholder groups to encourage and energise them to adopt yoga as a daily practice, ingrained into their daily regimen.
In all its offices across the country, there are intervals which serve as a reminder to employees to take a 7-minute break to breathe right. The company also held camps across 137 branches in various locations for their employees to imbibe yoga into their daily lifestyle. In addition to this, SBI General also held 10 camps for various stakeholders and their families in 7 cities. Intermediaries of the Company were also invited for guided sessions, and online sessions were also held for customers to follow the video.
Going above and beyond, the company also reached out to schools to inculcate the habit of yoga amongst school children as it is one of the few forms of exercises suitable for all age groups and demographics.
