Amritsar: BJP leader from the Amritsar North Assembly constituency, Akshay Sharma, expressed happiness over the nomination of BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh as a Rajya Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh, describing it as a recognition of the party’s dedicated and grassroots workers.
Akshay Sharma said that Tarun Chugh’s political journey is a living example of the BJP’s worker-centric political culture. Starting his organizational career as a booth in-charge during his student days, he has risen through the ranks to become a National General Secretary and now a Rajya Sabha candidate. This demonstrates that in the BJP, hard work, dedication, and commitment to the organization are duly recognized and rewarded.
He said that Tarun Chugh, who hails from Amritsar, has carved a distinct identity for himself in national politics and has played a significant role in strengthening the party organization across various states of the country.
