Chandigarh, March 23, 2026: The GB Legends - Tee Box Junior Golf Championship concluded on a high note, witnessing enthusiastic participation from young golfers across multiple categories. This was the 11th Edition of the championship. The young participants displayed remarkable resilience, determination, and sportsmanship, truly reflecting the spirit of the game with a total of 64 junior players competing at the Chandigarh Golf Club. Notably, the main objective of The Tee Box Golf Series(TTBGS) is to create more opportunities for juniors in order to make them competition ready. The prizes were given away by President Chandigarh Golf Club (CGC) RS Virk and CEO of GB Legends Amit Sood in the presence of Darvesh Kumar, Founder, Chashma Shah Sports.
Amit Sood, CEO, GB Legends which is the sports vertical of renowned realty organisation GB Realty, said, “Our mandate at GB Legends is clear. We work at the grass roots level to identify sporting talent and then support promising youngsters in honing their skills. GB Legends, associated with the Tee Box Championship, as it is a strong platform for nurturing young talent and promoting the growth of junior golf - a goal which is aligned with our vision at GB Legends.”
The age categories under which the junior golfers participated were: A+:18-21 years, A: 15-17 years, B: 13-14 years, C: 11-12 years, D: 09-10 years, E: 07-08 years and F: 06 years and below.The event saw impressive performances across boys’ and girls’ categories, with several players delivering outstanding scores.
The following winners were declared in the Boys Category. In Category A, the winner was Adhiraaj Singh Gill & runner-up – Kairav Singh; in Category B, Arnav Kumar was the winner while Udayveer Singh Gill was the runner-up; in Category C , Virat Singh bagged first position and Upraj Singh Mehendiratta was declared runner-up; in Category D, the winner was Zorawar Singh Chahal & runner-up was Jaskirat Singh; in Category E, Viraj Krishan Chaudhry was adjudged winner while the runner-up title went to Gurbaaz Singh; In Category F, the winner was Saveer Singh Pruthi & runner-up – Aarav Lobhana.
The winners in the Girls Category were also declared. In Category A+, Raza Kaur bagged the top spot while Neymat Kaur was declared runner-up; in Category A, the winner was Nyra Singh; in Category B, the winner was Teesta Singh Sikarwar and runner-up – Miraaya Sood; Category C’s winner was Samyra Randhawa & the runner-up title was bagged by Keerat Khanna; in Category D, Mahika Sharma was declared winner while Paawani Paul Bansal took home the runner up title; in Category E, the winner was Anaysha Bharghav and runner-up – Inaaya Jain.
Best Gross Winners too were announced. In Boys (Categories A, B, C & D): Zorawar Singh Chahal; Girls (Categories A, B, C & D): Teesta Singh Sikarwar; Boys (Categories E & F): Viraj Krishan Chaudhry and Girls (Categories E & F): Anaysha Bharghav.
The organizers expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all participants and their families for their dedication and support.
