Chandigarh:, a special awareness program on mental health and de-addiction was organized at the 13th Battalion CRPF, led by Commandant Smt. Kamal Sisodiya. On this occasion, she personally conducted a session, educating CRPF personnel and local civilians about the importance of de-addiction and mental well-being. She provided not only guidance but also personal counselling, helping them manage stress, build self-confidence, and maintain balance in their lives.
During the event, it was highlighted that mental resilience and emotional balance are vital for the lives of security forces. Previously, Kamal Sisodiya had also established a herbal and botanical garden for the mental well-being of the soldiers and their families, fostering a positive lifestyle for youth, families, and women.
Through her continuous efforts in organizing awareness programs on de-addiction, mental, and emotional health, she inspires others to take forward this mission, creating a drug-free and healthy society and nation.
At the conclusion of the program, an interactive discussion session was held, where participants shared their experiences and received valuable guidance on stress management, mental resilience, and balanced living, resulting in many choosing to give up harmful habits, positively impacting their lives, families, and society.
