Chandigarh, November 9: Social worker and senior Congress leader Monty Sehgal has been appointed in-charge of the ‘Leadership Development Mission’ being run by the All India Congress Committee for the Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency.
Giving information, Monty Sehgal said that the party
Under this mission launched by Congress in whole country, the party will increase the participation of every section of the society in the political mainstream by carrying out this mission in every Lok Sabha constituency. It will bring forward the leaders working for the society to further develop and strengthen the leadership qualities hidden in them. It will be made, so that coordinators will be appointed in every Lok Sabha constituency and this campaign will be carried out on a large scale from village to village, city to city, following the guidelines of the party high command.
Specially thanking Punjab Pradesh Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring and all the senior leadership for giving this big responsibility, Monty Sehgal said that the trust they have shown in entrusting them with this responsibility, he will strive to complete it with full dedication. In time, the party will be strengthened in every assembly area of the constituency, he maintained.
The party will get a big boost in a stronger cause and the party is expected to come forward with more strength in the Jalandhar Lok Sabha constituency in the near future, asserted Monty.
