Chandigarh,Oct,29:In a major breakthrough Police Station Sector 03 of Chandigarh Police under the close supervision of Sh. Ketan Bansal, IPS, W/SP City, Chandigarh and Sh. Charanjit Singh Virk, DSP/Central a team headed by SHO Insp Sher Singh arrested a kingpin along with two persons, who cheating the persons on the pretext of arranging jobs to the candidates who already appeared in the examination of HSSC, GROUP D, Panchayat Secretary etc.
A FIR No 82 dated 26.10.21 u/s 420,467,468,471,120B IPC PS 03, Chd has been registered on the complainant of Mr. Sandeep Nandal Marshal, Secretary O/o Haryana Vidhan sabha, Sector 1 Chandigarh who reported that on 17.10.20121, one candidate Neeraj Kumar S/O Sh Rajesh Kumar R/o H.No. 601-A/B2, Lekh Ram Colony, Bitna Road, Pinjore appeared for interview for the post of reporter and having forged appointment letter claimed to be issued by Vidhan Sabha, when he was asked about the same then he disclosed that the said documents were given by one Jitender Singh and assured him to get appointed him on job.
Arrest of accused :-
During the course of investigation, on the same day i.e. 26.10.21, the main accused Jitender Singh S/o Lt. Sh. Kashmir Singh R/o Vill Rachhedi. PO-ganeshpur, Teh- Nariangarh, Distt- Ambala, Haryana was arrested and after taking police remand of 08 days, the accused Jatinder Singh interrogated and his co-accused persons namely Ganesh Kumar Nishad S/o Inderpal Nishad R/o h No 250, Burail, Chd Age 28 years and Paras Kumar S/o Om Prakash R/o Village Kalal Majra, PS Shahzadpur Distt Ambala Haryana Age 30 years have been arrested on 29.10.21.

Modus Operandi The accused used to approach the candidates who applied for different posts in HSSC, GROUP D, Panchayat Secretary etc & other departments and claimed himself as Assistant in HSSC, Haryana Government and Industries & Commerce Department, Haryana. The accused allured the candidates on the pretext that he would manage to get appoint the candidate on the job and received the amount of Rs 2 lacs to 3 lacs as per candidate’s financial condition. Thereafter, he along with his associates made forged documents as per criteria of job accordingly.
Roll of co-accused
Ganesh Kumar Nishad used to prepare fake stamps for stamping on forged appointment letters.
Paras Kumar used to prepare fake ID cards given to the accused Jatinder Kumar, who further show these fake ID cards to the candidates to allure them to give money.

During investigation conducted so far, it revealed that the accused has received the amount of Rs 99 lacs from 43 persons and further investigation is going on.
