Kinder Castle Play School’s grand Diwali celebration, “Glitteratti – Family Fest”, held on Saturday, October 18th, was a massive success, drawing in hundreds of families from across Dhakoli and surrounding areas. The all-day event, which ran from 11 a.m. to midnight, turned into a lively hub of music, laughter, creativity, and festive cheer, making it one of the most memorable community events of the season.
Billed as the biggest exhibition in Peermuchhala, the fest lived up to expectations with its diverse mix of activities and attractions. From over 40 vibrant stalls featuring clothing, books, and gourmet delights, to a dedicated play area for children, exciting competitions, and a live band performance, there was something for every age group. The day also featured a unique “Budding Businessmen” program, where UKG students confidently pitched and sold their handmade products — an initiative that was both adorable and inspiring.
The first-ever Disney Parade in the region was a crowd-puller, with appearances by beloved characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Hulk, Spiderman and others, delighting children and adding a touch of magic to the evening. Other highlights included a special RJ session by 92.7 FM, a lively DJ party, valet parking, balloon bursting with 500+ balloons, and a showcase of luxury cars.
Speaking after the event, Jasmine Kaur, Principal of Kinder Castle Play School, shared, “Glitteratti was not just a celebration of Diwali, but a celebration of our community and the boundless potential of children. We are overwhelmed by the love and participation we received. Watching families come together, children shine in their roles, and the entire atmosphere light up with joy — that was the true reward for all our efforts.”
Game competitions such as Tug of War, Dosti/Pyaar ka Bandhan, Jump In & Out, and Dance Deewane Freeze saw enthusiastic participation, while the lucky draw for gold and silver coins added excitement and suspense to the evening.
The event successfully brought together learning, entertainment, and family bonding under one colorful umbrella — establishing Glitteratti as a new Diwali tradition for the region.
