Chandigarh: The PG Department of Information Technology, Goswami Ganesh Dutta Sanatan Dharma College, Chandigarh organized an academic counselling and mentoring session on career opportunities in the field of Information Technology on June 3, 2021.
Eminent experts from the industry spoke about the career options that can help the students to explore the most suitable career opportunities.
The session started with welcome address by Dr. Virender Singh, head of the department. Mr. Anil Kumar Singhal, Founder of IMPACT Solutions shared his experiences in the area of digital marketing. Mr. Shobhan Soi - Founder and CEO of Pre Schools, highlighted the importance of latest technologies such as designing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and digital marketing as a career option.
Mrs. Preeti Raina - Senior Consultant and Life Coach, addressed the students regarding learning, development and human resource. She also spoke about the importance of behavioural skills in the growth of career and the techniques used to market one’s ideas.
Mr Sandeep Goyal- Founder and MD of Jeronone Technologies Pvt. Ltd., delivered his talk regarding the current technologies in the field of IT. He also elaborated on the skills required to become a successful entrepreneur.
It was an online interactive session attended by more than 100 students through the online platform in virtual mode. Dr. Balraj thapar, Principal of the college lauded the efforts of the organising team and encouraged the students to continue their learning despite the current pandemic situation.
