All India Police Badminton Championship are being organized by the states/UTs/Police Organization under the aegis of All India Police Sports Control Board, New Delhi to promote mutual understanding and sportsmanship to commemorate the glorious history of Indian People and Culture. This year Chandigarh Police has been assigned with the responsibility to conduct the 15th All India Police Badminton Championship-2022-23.
Today, a meeting regarding All India Police Badminton Championship was held at Conference Hall 3rd Floor, Police Headquarter, Sector-09, Chandigarh in which Sh. Deepak Purohit, IPS, DIGP/UT, Chandigarh, Sh. Manoj Kumar Meena, IPS, SSP/Headquarters, Sh. Ram Gopal,
DSP/CID cum Assistant Organizer Secretary as well as team managers/coaches from 37 participating teams were present in the meeting. Sh. Surinder Mahajan, Secretary, Chandigarh Badminton Association, Sh. Sanjeev Sachdeva, Chief National Coach, India, Rajeev Tuli, Badminton Coach, Chandigarh Sports Department, Vishal Mehta, Badminton Coach, Ravi Singh, Chief Rafree have participatd in this meeting. Lots of draw of the matches have also been drawn during the meeting in presence of the observers of all India Police Sports Control Board. The copy of the programme were handed over to the team just after the draw is over. Tomorrow i.e. 20.02.2023, the said championship will be opened at Badminton Hall, Sports Complex, Sector-7, Chandigarh.
