Panchkula, July 27, 2025: The Late Purushottam Das Rungta Trust organised its 175th Community Kitchen or 'Bhandara' to feed the hungry and needy. The 'bhandara' served nutritious food from a mobile van to labourers, members of underprivileged families and passersby at Panchkula's Industrial Area Phase 1. The community kitchen was held under the stewardship of Amitabh Rungta, Founder of Late Purushottam Das Rungta Trust. Amitabh Rungta is a well known social worker of Panchkula, who has been conducting weekly 'bhandaras' as well as undertaking many other social activities for the underprivileged and needy.
Amitabh Rungta said on the sidelines of the 'bhandara' that, "Helping others should always be one's motto in life. I feel one should conduct one socially beneficial activity every week, such efforts will change the world and make it a better place to live in. These activities will also develop mutual respect between fellow humans."
The volunteers of Late Purushottam Das Rungta Charitable Trust helped out in the successful conduct of the community kitchen.
