Chandigarh Police organized awareness camp

Chandigarh,Feb,19: the two days awareness camp regarding spreading awareness about COVID-19 vaccination among Chandigarh Police Officials has been organized in Multipurpose Hall, Police Lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh. Dr. Sree Niwason from World Health

Organization along with Staff of Police Hospital, Sector-26 sensitized the Chandigarh Police officials about vaccination. Sh. Dalip Rattan, DSP/Lines and Insp. Dalbir Singh along with staff were also present during the camp. Approximately 200 Police officials have attended this camp on the first day. The

camp was organized to address the emerging issue of vaccine hesitancy among the people and to curb the misinformation and rumors about vaccination. It was emphasized that vaccination against COVID-19 will lead to people not transmitting the disease and disease will eradicate in some time. Commenting on the safety and efficacy of the vaccines it was told that many eminent doctors along with many other frontline workers have taken the vaccines and returned to work without any side-effects.
