Chandigarh, August 17, 2022: To celebrate the 75 th Independence Day, DLF today organised its flagship community event, ‘Freedom Run' at DLF The Valley, Panchkula. Over 250 residents participated in the run to savour the spirit and zeal of Independence Day. The community run was flagged off from the Valley Club. The run was followed by flag hoisting and a host of other fun activities to mark the 75 th Independence Day.
For many years, DLF has been organising the ‘Freedom Run’ as its flagship initiative on Independence Day. It started at DLF5 in Gurgaon and is now being organised at various other locations as well. This year, DLF launched it at The Valley in Panchkula and DLF Midtown in New Delhi. Apart from celebrating the spirit of Independence, this community event aims to inspire and encourage physical well-being amongst the residents.
Spread across 209 acres, 'The Valley’ township by DLF is located in the heart of Panchkula and is home to over 1100 families.
