Mohali, February 28: As many as 75 patients were examined during Ivy Hospital, Mohali free multi-speciality health check-up camp at Gurdwara Sahib Sri Guru Arjun Dev Ji Singh Sabha , Sunny Enclave on Tuesday. During camp free tests of BP and sugar were also offered.
Dr. Monika Saluja Parikh an ENT specialist from Ivy Hospital gave information about ear, nose and throat related diseases to the patients while consulting them for their ENT related problems.
She also gave information about cold and flu while emphasizing that viral fever could spread during changing weather.
Ivy chest specialist, Dr. Sonal discussed chest diseases. She said that due to change in weather the cold and flu fever were spreading.
She further said that when there is a pain in the throat, the water keeps falling in the eyes which accompanies fever and then it goes on to become pneumonia.
Dr. Charu from general medicine described viral fever as serious while focusing on the need to take proper precaution during changing weather conditions.
