World’s 1st 'Maat Pita Mandir’ ph 1 work completed, to be ready by 2025

Mohali, April 8: The phase 1 construction work of world's first and only ‘Maat-Pitaa Mandir’ has been completed in Mohali. The work on phase 2 is currently underway and the temple is expected to be ready by 2025.
The temple is being built by Maat Pitaa Gaudham Maha Tirth at Khallaur village on 10 acres of land alongside Banur-Ambala road in Mohali district.
Addressing a press conference at the temple site on Saturday, Gyan Chand Walia, founder of Maha Tirth said that under phase 1, the 20 thousand square feet langar hall has been completed.
Walia further said that the temple will be dedicated to the parents and it would not have any idol as the devotees would feel the presence of God in their parents.
The objective of the temple would also be to focus on the spiritual benefits of the mother cow while spreading awareness about respecting parents as well, informed Surensh Singla , Patron of Maha Tirth.
Temple which is for all communities and religions, will be completely dedicated to the parents where they will be worshiped and respected, Subhash Singla, senior VP of Maha Tirth said.
Meanwhile, the temple has also got a certificate from the World Book of Records as the world's first and only 'Maat Pita Mandir'.
