Chandigarh,sept,23:On the occasion of “World Car Free Day”, Chandigarh Traffic Police in association with CYCLEGIRI Group organized a Cycle Rally at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh to aware and encourage general public to use non motorised mode of transport and to contribute towards a green and cleaner environment.The Cycle Rally was flagged off by the Chief Guest Sh. Dharam Pal, IAS, W/Adviser to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh in the presence of Sh. Praveer Ranjan, DGP UT, Sh. Nitin Yadav, Home Secretary, Ms Manisha Choudhary, SSP Traffic and various other senior officials of Chandigarh and Police Administration.
Chandigarh Traffic Police urges general public to adopt environment friendly modes of transport.
