Team of Crime Branch got a major success

Chandigarh:The Team of Crime Branch under the supervision of Insp. Rajiv Kumar got a major success by apprehending the Monu Jaisawal, Sonu Jaiswal, Kshitij @ Cherry and Suraj @ambo involved in the Sagar’s murder within 5 hours

Brief facts

There was a quarrel when accused was objected for wrong side driving by sagar and his friends , which took the life of innocent boy Sagar who received multiple injuries of stabbing on the other hand  Vishal and other witness Nitish got injury on their  hands with knife and sticks.

Today i.e. on 21.8.2022 an information received about stabbing near hotel Jalandhar, Sector-22 Chandigarh, swiftly a team of Crime Branch reached on spot and gathered the information from the local sources. Sources revealed that Sagar alongwith his 4-5 friends were going in  I-10 car from Bus Stand Chowk to Cricket Stadium Chowk when they reached opposite Jalandhar Hotel Sector-22, Chandigarh, where 5-6 persons were in a WagonR car coming from the wrong side and there was a quarrel to move the vehicle side between Sagar and alleged party. Alleged party  stabbed Sagar.and his friends After stabbing Sonu, Monu and Kshitij flew away from the spot in car and take beer in tension and Suraj @ ambo gone to his house in Ram Darbar.  Sagar was admitted to PGI, where he died.

Investigation conducted so far

Multiple teams of crime branch were constituted, which conducted  raid in Banoor, Kharar and Ram Darbar and the case was solved within 5 hours with the apprehension of  alleged persons alongwith the WagnoR Car involved in this crime. The role of others are being verified who was in quarrel. 

Profile of accused

1. Monu Jaiswal S/o Sh. Shashi Jaiswal R/o # 1854, Hallo Majra, Deep Complex, Chandigarh. Aged 22 years. He has passed 12 class and presently doing ILETS for going to America, his mother is house wife and father is running a provision store.

2. Sonu Jaiswal S/o Sh. Shashi Jaiswal R/o # 1854, Hallo Majra, Deep Complex, Chandigarh. Aged 24 years. Sonu is the brother of Monu Jaiswal, 12 passed and presently working as cab driver.

3. Kshitj @ Cherry S/o Sh. Narender Gaur R/o # 486, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh. Aged 22 years.Khistij has passed Matric, his father is residing in South Africa and presently in India.

4. Suraj @ M-bo S/o Sh. Shiv Kumar r/o # 670, Ph.1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh. Aged 22 years.Suraj is also 10th passed and presently working as courier boy in Amazon. His father has passed away and mother is house wife.

All the accused apprehended by the team of crime branch and later handed over to PS sec 17 team for further investigation.
