Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon inaugurates health camp, listens to 138th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’

Chandigarh, September 27: Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon on Sunday inaugurated a health camp at Bharati Bhawan, Sector 30, Chandigarh, and later listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio programme ‘Mann Ki Baat’ along with party workers and other

participants. The health camp was organised as part of BJP's  ongoing month-long 'Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan'. The health camp provided consultation in General Medicine, Orthopedics, Urology, Cardiology and Pulmonology. Participants also had access to free diagnostic facilities including BP, RBS, BMI, ECG, PFT, Uroflowmetry and BMD.

Tandon emphasised the importance of community-level health initiatives and appreciated the organisers and medical professionals associated with the camp. He said such camps can help promote awareness about preventive healthcare and encourage people to pay greater attention to their health.

Following the inauguration of the camp, Tandon joined party workers and other participants at the venue to listen to the 138th episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’, which was broadcast on Sunday. During the programme, Prime Minister Modi spoke about various social initiatives, public participation and individuals contributing to society.

Speaking on the occasion, Tandon said that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ had provided a platform for highlighting initiatives and experiences from different parts of the country.

“Mann Ki Baat has become a platform through which the experiences of citizens, social initiatives and efforts in different fields are brought before the country. Listening to these experiences reminds us of our responsibilities towards society and encourages greater participation in nation-building,” Tandon said.

He said participating in the programme along with party workers and members of the community was an opportunity to reflect on the role individuals and communities can play in addressing social issues.
