eatables and distributed them among the needy.
In the Kindergarten Block, the tiny tots were apprised about the significance of Christmas. The
little ones, together with their teachers, sang carols, followed by a group dance performance.
The story of the nativity was narrated to the students and they were motivated to become good
and kind human beings.
Christmas was very much in the air in the school with Xmas trees and nativity scenes across
the school, and Christmas carols wafting in the environs. A special assembly was organised for
classes Kinflergarten to XII. Carols such as 'Joy to The World' and 'Mary's Boy Child- Jesus
Christ' were sung by the school choir. A heart-warming skit on the theme of 'Giving' was performed by the students. The surprise elcment was the flash mob that erupted into zesty
tttorres on peppy Xmas numbers, and stole everyone's hearts. The icing on the cake, of course,
was the arrival of Santa Claus. Excitement ran through the gathering as Santa moved around distributing candies to one and'all.
The celebration continued in the classrooms where students partook in a Christmas feast. A
special movie show was organised for students of Kindergarten to class V. Classes VI - XII
congregated in the basketball court to shake their leg in a spirited Jam session, dancing on
popular Christmas music.
Members ofthe Senior Management, Ms. Jai Gill'and Directolof the School, Ms. Renu Shorey
congratulated the Gillconians and said that the real spirit of Christmas is to cherish peace and
goodwill. The Schpol Principal, Ms. Inderpreet Kaur appreciated the efforts of students and
encouraged them to experience the power of sharing and helping others. The celebrations
concluded with every student being given a Christmas treat box, and a promise from all
Gillconians to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, forgive the guilty, welcome everyone.
