Chandigarh, August 16, 2021:Under the aegis of Bhumihar Sewa Sangh(BSS) , Swami Sahajanand Saraswati Prabhag , Chandigarh - a social organisation affiliated to BSS, organised an online patriotic cultural programme on the occasion of India's 75th Independence Day on August 15. The programme - 'Aaj Ki Shaam Watan Ke Naam' was held online on Zoom.
President of the Organising Committee Nalin Vilochan said from Kolkata, "This time the programme wa presented by Swami Sahajanand Saraswati Prabhag, Chandigarh, while the operational details of the same were looked after by the Indian Air Force's former flight engineer and BSS's Vice President Prabhunath Shahi."
BSS's President & well known scientist Mithilesh Kumar said from Mumbai, "In this programme families from across different geographical areas of India participated and they were joined by a variety of social organisations too."
The programme's coordinator and senior BSS official Sanjay Kumar said, "This programme was put together with a lot of hard work by BSS members from different parts of India. The programme was aimed at spreading love for the nation and patriotism."
The programme's director Prabhunath Shahi said that 500 people participated in the online programme which also saw participation of members of BSS, Mumbai, Patna, Lucknow, Delhi, Kota, Dehradun, and members of BSS's cultural unit from Bhojpuri speaking regions of Bihar and UP , Swami Sehjanand Saraswati Prabhag , Chandigarh, Bhramrishi Samaj, Kolkata, Bhumihar Mahila Samaj , Patna, Bhumihar Bhramrishi Jan Sewa , Meera Road, Mumbai, Poorvanchal Pariwar Chandigarh, Gayatri Pariwar Chandigarh, Brahmin Sabha , Chandigarh, Jai Madhusudan Jai Shri Krishna Sewa Society , Chandigarh, Muni Parshuram & Shri Krishna Singh Foundation, Parsuram Sewa Sangh etc.
