Dr. Sunil in the service of humanity in the midst of Ukraine crisis

Chandigarh, March 1, 2022:On one hand, while the whole world is saddened by the Ukraine-Russia crisis at this time, on the other hand Dr. Sunil Sharma of Chandigarh, away from his family, has been engaged in helping Indian students on the Romania border for past few days. He is the Authorized Representative of the Bukovinian State Medical University, Ukraine in India, Advisor to the Chancellor, and Director of The MD House Chandigarh.
On the very first day of the war between Russia and Ukraine, Dr. Sunil had gone to Romania to help the Indian students and started trying to get the students out safely on the border there. So far, he has helped to send about 1500 students to India and is trying to get about 3500 students back to their homeland safely by making them stay in camps from this side of the border to the other side.
Dr. Sunil is acting as a bridge between the Embassy of India and the Embassies of Romania and Ukraine. Due to his knowledge of Russian and Ukrainian languages, he is able to help the Embassy officials of the three countries as well as the students at the border.

Dr. Sunil arranged accommodation for Indian students by setting up tents at his own expense on the Ukraine and Romania border. Last night, when the students on the Romanian border were troubled by snowfall, Dr. Sunil provided basic facilities by setting up camps on both sides of the border.

Originally from Sarkaghat in Mandi district, Dr. Sunil has been working continuously for the betterment of Indian students for the last 16 years.
