Chandigarh:On the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri, the First Lady Commandant of 13th Battalion, CRPF, Mrs. Kamal Sisodia, was respectfully invited by the people of Punjab to participate in worship and prayers at a temple.
On this occasion, the festival of Maha
Shivratri was celebrated with devotion, reverence, and enthusiasm in the temple, in the dignified presence of CRPF jawans and local citizens. The entire atmosphere resonated with chants of “Om Namah Shivaya,” where a unique confluence of patriotism and spiritual energy was witnessed.
In her address, Mrs. Kamal Sisodia stated that just as Lord Shiva, by consuming poison and becoming Neelkanth, protected the entire universe, similarly the personnel of the CRPF remain ever devoted to the protection of the nation, motherland, and its citizens, performing their duties with complete dedication. She described the affection, blessings, and good wishes received from the general public as a strong source of inspiration for the force.
It is also noteworthy that Mrs. Kamal Sisodia has been actively contributing to various social outreach initiatives, particularly in the fields of women empowerment, youth motivation, and the welfare of the girl child. Through awareness programmes, motivational sessions, and community engagement activities, she has consistently encouraged education, confidence building, and social responsibility among young citizens, especially girls, thereby strengthening the bond between the Force and society.
