Tarn Taran: Livasa Hospital, Amritsar the Punjab’s leading NABH-accredited super-specialty hospital chain has launched an extended weekly multi-specialty OPD at Guru Nanak Scan & Diagnostic Centre, opposite Civil Hospital, Medicity Market, Tarn Taran on Wednesday.
Organized in association with Guru Nanak Scan & Diagnostic Centre, this initiative strengthens Livasa’s commitment to bringing advanced, specialized care closer to communities beyond major cities.
The launch event was graced by chief guest Dr. Shamsher Singh former director of department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Punjab, who appreciated and applauded Livasa Hospital’s community-focused healthcare initiative, calling it a much-needed step toward improving medical accessibility for residents.
The expanded OPD aims to ensure that people of Tarn Taran and surrounding areas receive expert consultations without the need to travel long distances for advanced treatment.
All consultations will be conducted at Guru Nanak Scan & Diagnostic Centre.
For pulmonology, Dr. Baljot Singh consultant pulmonology from Livasa Hospital, Amritsar will be available on every Monday from 11am to 2 pm. In cardiology, Dr. Arjun Ved Gupta consultant interventional cardiology will be at OPD on every Tuesday from 11am to 2pm.
Dr. Kanwaljeet Singh principal director surgical gastroenterology (gastrointestinal surgery), laparoscopic surgery and GI endoscopy will be available on every Thursday from 11am to 2 pm. In Gastroenterology, Dr. Ishan Mittal, associate consultant gastroenterology, will be at OPD on every Friday from 11 am to 2 pm.
Dr. Sukhpal Singh senior consultant orthopaedics and joint replacement will attend OPD every Saturday from 11 am to 2 pm.
