Lalru(Mohali)/Chandigarh, December 18, 2024: Highland Lifespaces, which is a
reliable name in the region’s real estate landscape, is coming up with tricity’s first
integrated project - Highland Industrial City(HIC) –a GMADA & Rera approved
development that will seamlessly combine industrial, commercial and residential
spaces in a single, state-of-the-art hub.
Strategically located along Chandigarh-Delhi National Highway (NH-44), the 100
plus acre HIC, is all set to redefine industrial and business infrastructure in the region, giving a boost to the ‘Make in India’ initiative of the government. The idea is to provide an ideal environment to Small & Medium Enterprises(SME’s) & micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME’s) to set up units and create products with the ‘Made in India’ label.
Sharing details about the one–of-a-kind development at a press conference held at the project site, where a meet and greet event was held, Harjinder Singh Rangi and
Vishal Goyal, Directors at Highland Lifespaces, gave a low down to media on the concept of HIC.

Highlighting the benefits of owning plots in Highland Industrial City, Harinder Singh
Rangi remarked, “This Red Zone industrial hub is a game-changer, designed to
accommodate all industries under the Green, Orange, Red Zone categories. It’s a
driver of economic growth, generating employment and spurring development.
Whether as an investment or for setting up manufacturing units, our plots provide the
ideal environment for businesses to thrive. The possession of plots is being given in
6 months’ time.”

“HIC is RERA-approved, ensuring trust and compliance for stakeholders and we
have plots of different sizes for industrial, residential and commercial use,” informed
Vishal Goyal.

“Highland Industrial City is not a regular realty project but an ‘integrated
development’ to bolster the industrial infrastructure in order to boost the region's
economy. This project marks the beginning of the Red Zone Category in tricity;
offering a specialized zone ideal for heavy industries like automobile, chemical, steel,
pharma, agri-tech, food processing, electronics, furniture, paint , petroleum products
etc. while ensuring effortless accessibility through the upcoming PR12 Road,” said
HS Rangi.

Both the directors raised awareness about the project among all stakeholders who
were invited for the meet & greet. “The project is going to be a game changer in
more ways than one, and will bring immense investment to Lalru,” Vishal Goyal
explained.

Notably, HIC is adjacent to a 600-acre residential project of Punjab government's
town & country planning department which further enhances the integrated
development’s value proposition for businesses and investors alike.
The project once fully ready shall boast of world-class amenities like a robust
industrial infrastructure including 60- foot- or more wide concreted internal roads etc.

“Our integrated industrial city is a step into the future, combining economic growth,
functionality & accessibility," said HS Rangi.

The directors shared that HIC will boast of state-of-the-art facilities including a
Weighing Bridge for accurate logistics management, a Daily Convenience Store, and
a Dispensary for employee well-being. It will also feature a temple for spiritual needs,
dedicated Construction Support, and a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) for
sustainable operations along with efficient Solid Waste Disposal systems.

It is noteworthy that approvals’ assistance & support from the Punjab government
will be available to investors. In order to give a fillip to industry & economy various
incentives are being offered to companies to invest in Lalru. These include fiscal
incentives like tax breaks, subsidies, and other regulations and a few non fiscal
incentives as well under the 'Invest Punjab' initiative.
