Chandigarh: view of the forthcoming Rose Festival-2022 to be held from 25.2.2022 to 27.2.2022, the general public is requested to co-operate with Police:-
1. General public should park their vehicles in the following designated parking lots:-
A. Sector 17:
Infront of MC Office
Infront of Hotel Taj parking
Parking area adjoining RBI Bank
Near General Post office parking Sector 17
Parking adjacent Neelam Cinema
Multi Level Parking, Sector 17
Parking infront of Fab India
B Sector 9:
1. Parking area backside of Chandigarh Police Hqrs
2. Parking area backside of Punjab Police Headquarters
C. Pick and drop Spots:
1. Near Ras Frontier, Sector 17
2. Adjacent Neelam Theater, Sector 17
2. People are advised not to park their vehicles in ‘No Parking’ Zones/Cycle Tracks/Pedestrian pathways; otherwise, such vehicles shall be towed away/clamped.
3. In case vehicle is towed away/clamped, please contact Traffic Helpline No. 1073.
4. Please remain patient in case of congestion and do not honk unnecessarily.
5. Please follow any diversions points and place to manage any congestion.
Inconvenience caused to the general public on account of these restrictions is regretted. General public is requested to cooperate with the police.
