Chandigarh,February24,2022:Immunotherapy is a new revolution in cancer treatment. The immune cells of our body help in fighting against malignant cells of cancer. Due to this, the patient's power to fight the disease becomes strong which can cure cancer. Many people have benefited from Immuno-Oncology. Keeping in mind the needs of every individual, Immune Booster Therapy is given. Immune cells attack cancer cells only and do not harm healthy cells. Dr Jamal A Khan, a cancer immunotherapy specialist from Delhi, said this while on a tour of the City.
Dr. Khan said that he is happy that many cancer patients are being successfully treated with Immunotherapy. “A unique case was of Saima, a girl from Bulandshahr. Her father had given up all hope. Then I treated her, who is fine now.” Saima was also with him, who said that when she reached Dr. Khan in August, 2021, she prayed to God to get well. The difference was visible in the first week itself and she is feeling great now.
Iftikhar Ahmed, the girl's father, said that Saima had poor eyesight in 2018 and had a recurring headache. He thought that his daughter would not survive. Despite spending a lot on the treatment, there was disappointment. Then Dr. Khan met him who proved to be an angel for Saima. Iftikhar's daughter is fine now and recently she has also taken her B.Ed exam.
