Chandigarh:Star Public School marked a proud milestone as it celebrated its spectacular 29th Annual Day at the prestigious MGSIPA Auditorium, Sector 26, Chandigarh. The event was a grand showcase of the students’ diverse talents, creativity, and confidence.
The celebration commenced with the ceremonial Lamp Lighting, followed by a warm welcome address by Principal Mrs. Suman Sharma, who highlighted the school’s notable achievements in academics and co-curricular activities over the past year.
The cultural program unfolded vibrantly, beginning with a soulful Ganesh Vandana and a melodious Shabad. Students from all classes presented captivating performances, including charming dances by Nursery, LKG, UKG, and Grades 1 to 3, featuring a lively Punjabi dance that enthralled the audience. Senior students delivered a beautifully coordinated Welcome Group Song, while the event also showcased harmonious English song ensembles and an energetic Karate demonstration, earning applause from all present.
The school had the honor of hosting Prof. (Dr.) Anita Kaushal, Principal of Post Graduate Government College for Girls, Sector 42, Chandigarh, as the Chief Guest. She presided over the Prize Distribution Ceremony, felicitating students who excelled in academics and extracurricular pursuits. The Guest of Honour, Mrs. Prajakta Avadh, Chairperson of the Child Welfare Council and Founder-President of the Samvedana Organisation, inspired everyone with her thought-provoking and motivational address.
The evening concluded with a powerful and impactful performance titled "Operation Sindoor" by students of Classes 4 and 5, leaving the audience deeply moved and marking the perfect end to a memorable celebration.
The 29th Annual Day stood as a testament to Star Public School’s commitment to holistic development, discipline, and excellence—celebrating yet another year of growth, achievements, and vibrant talent.
