Agahi MUN 4.0 Brings Together 1,000 Young Delegates at India’s Biggest Private Open-Air MUN in Chandigarh

Chandigarh, : Agahi MUN 4.0, conceptualised by Agahi Events and celebrated as India’s biggest private Model United Nations and the country’s first-ever open-air MUN, successfully concluded its two-day conference on November 15 and 16, 2025.

Hosted at the spectacular outdoor venue ‘The House of Castles’ in Chandigarh, the conference brought together over 1,000 young delegates from across Tricity and beyond under the inspiring theme Bringing the Change. Designed as an immersive platform for diplomacy, debate and decision-making, Agahi MUN has become a flagship initiative of Agahi Events uniting students, policymakers, subject experts and globally aware youth to engage meaningfully with pressing global issues.

Each edition focuses on global governance, sustainable development, youth leadership, and international cooperation, encouraging participants to move beyond classroom boundaries and contribute to real-world solutions. As India’s first-ever open-air Model UN, Agahi MUN offers students a unique opportunity to step into the shoes of world leaders, deliberate on global challenges, promote diplomacy and build leadership skills.

Organised by Agahi Events, the conference merges the power of debate with culture, art, and youth expression. The open-air format symbolises freedom of thought and transparency, creating an atmosphere of creativity, collaboration, and intellectual exchange. Through this platform, students enhance their skills in public speaking, negotiation, global awareness and leadership while celebrating unity in diversity and the spirit of global citizenship.

The event opened with an inaugural ceremony marked by tradition and intellectual vibrancy. Rana Gurjeet Singh, Member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly (Kapurthala), delivered the keynote address, emphasising the importance of informed and adaptable youth leadership.

The inaugural session also featured Satnam Sandhu as the Chief Guest, with Lok Pal Singh, Vice-President of DLF, joining as the Guest of Honour. Dr. KPS Brar delivered a keynote address, while Lalit Sharma, Founder of Mantrin, shared his perspectives with the delegates. Journalist and author Rajdeep Sardesai further enriched the ceremony with his insights.
Adding a cultural highlight to the two-day celebration, renowned Punjabi singers, Mankirt Aulakh and Dilpreet Dhillon captivated the audience with a live performance during the Social Night, infusing energy and excitement into the event.

Reflecting on the success of the event, Jivtesh Singh and Tejas Sareen, Co-Founders of Agahi Events, expressed pride in how Agahi MUN has evolved into a movement celebrating youth leadership and innovation.
