Chandigarh, September 20, 2026: Senior BJP leader Sanjay Tandon on Sunday cast his vote in the Panjab University Senate Election 2026 from the Graduates’ Constituency and urged all eligible registered graduates to exercise their franchise.
Tandon said that active participation by graduates was essential to strengthening the democratic process within the university.
“I have cast my vote in the Panjab University Senate Election 2026. I appeal to all eligible registered graduates to come forward and exercise their right to vote. Every vote represents participation in the democratic process and contributes to shaping the future of Panjab University,” Tandon said.
He further appealed to voters to participate responsibly and make their voice count in the election process.
“Panjab University is an important academic institution, and its stakeholders have a role in shaping its future. I urge all eligible graduates to participate actively and responsibly in the Senate election,” he added.
